On April 30, 2025, an international education technology exchange hosted by the Taipei Computer Association (TCA) officially got underway. The event invited SEAMEO INNOTECH, a Southeast Asian institution for educational innovation and technology, to lead a delegation to Taiwan. Comprising education bureau directors, university professors, college deans, and secondary school principals from the Philippines, the delegation engaged in in-depth exchange with Taiwan's education technology providers, jointly exploring the current applications and future directions of AI and digital technology in education.
WisdomGarden was invited to present the applications of "TronClass AIR: AI Learning Experience Platform," offering a complete look at how the platform addresses three core challenges facing today's classrooms: the ever-growing burden of lesson preparation and administrative work for teachers; low student motivation coupled with the difficulty of catering to individual differences; and the increasingly urgent need to integrate online and in-person instruction.

In its presentation, WisdomGarden explained that TronClass AIR leverages core capabilities such as generative AI, AI learning companions, learning analytics, and intelligent interaction to help teachers significantly boost the efficiency and quality of their lesson preparation while providing students with more personalized learning support. Several AI use cases were demonstrated live, including speech-to-subtitle transcription, intelligent lesson summaries, automatic question generation, real-time classroom interaction analysis, and comprehensive learning-journey tracking—giving guests a firsthand sense of how AI can integrate naturally into the teaching workflow rather than adding to teachers' workload.
The visiting guests showed keen interest in the platform, focusing in particular on how AI can support large-scale teaching management and advance personalized learning. Following the event, the WisdomGarden team held further in-depth discussions with several education bureau representatives, exchanging views on the practical implementation needs of Southeast Asian education settings, AI application models, and possibilities for future collaboration.
This exchange was not merely a showcase of achievements but the starting point of a cross-border educational dialogue. The expertise Taiwan has accumulated through years of dedication to education technology is gaining wider recognition through international platforms like this one, opening up new possibilities for deeper collaboration between Taiwan and Southeast Asia's education ecosystem.
What do you think is the greatest challenge facing education today? Can AI genuinely solve the long-standing problems of teacher burnout, low student engagement, and learning outcomes that are hard to quantify?
