From Central America to Africa: Overseas Chinese School Principals See How “Personalized Learning at Scale” Becomes Real
Principals and directors from 40 overseas Chinese schools witness firsthand how TronClass is using AI to reshape Chinese-language education around the world.

Overseas Chinese-language education has long faced a structural challenge: limited teaching staff, learners scattered far and wide, and time zones spanning three continents. Yet the mission of every overseas Chinese school principal remains the same—to ensure that the next generation can master Chinese and sustain their cultural identity even far from home.
In December 2025, the Overseas Community Affairs Council's "Delegation of Overseas Chinese School Principals and Directors from Central and South America and Africa" visited the Jianguo Campus of the School of Continuing Education at Chinese Culture University for an in-depth exchange with WisdomGarden CEO YC Heng on "A New Paradigm for the Future of Learning." At the heart of the conversation was a single question: how AI can turn "personalized learning at scale" from an ideal into a reality.

The WisdomGarden CEO illustrated how this vision comes to life through three concrete tools:
The first is the integrated application of generative AI and AI learning analytics. With the TronClass platform, teachers are freed from the heavy burden of lesson preparation and grading, allowing them to focus their energy on the teaching interactions that truly require a human touch. Meanwhile, AI works in the background to continuously analyze each student's learning behavior, flagging in real time which students need additional attention.
The second is the AIR learning companion. This AI-driven study partner ensures that every overseas Chinese school student can receive personalized, real-time feedback even during asynchronous study sessions without a teacher present—effectively addressing the core pain point of traditional distance learning, where students are left isolated and unsupported when studying on their own.

The third is the concept of the Learning Hub. More than just a set of software features, it represents a reimagining of the learning environment itself: a three-in-one integration of online AI learning, offline hands-on practice, and cross-school, cross-border resources. This extends learning into the real world, cultivating students' ability to solve problems and to keep learning throughout their lives.
During the collaboration session that followed the visit, the overseas Chinese school representatives raised a steady stream of questions—from the barriers to adopting AI-assisted teaching to the feasibility of cross-border partnership models—making for a lively and engaged discussion. This dialogue was far more than a product showcase; it marked an important milestone in the export of Taiwan's educational technology overseas.

For overseas language schools with limited resources, what do you think should be the very first problem that AI teaching tools set out to solve?
