Workshop: Integrating the LMS 2.0 Learning Platform into Teaching and Learning

In the classroom, are teachers still emailing handouts and students still turning in assignments on paper?

The challenge of digital teaching has never been the technical barrier, but how to get teachers to actually adopt it, use it smoothly, and achieve results. In December 2016, WisdomGarden was invited to co-host the "Workshop on Integrating the LMS 2.0 Learning Platform into Teaching and Learning" together with Tamkang University's Center for Learning and Teaching, Office of Information Services, and Department of Educational Technology, along with the Chinese Society of e-Learning. Held at Tamkang University's Taipei campus, the workshop was aimed at teachers and teaching assistants from partner schools of the Northern Region 1 and Region 2 teaching-resource centers.

At the workshop, staff demonstrate how LMS 2.0 applies in real teaching scenarios.

The heart of this workshop was not a product pitch, but hands-on practice.

The event was divided into two stages. In the first, the WisdomGarden team demonstrated how LMS 2.0 applies in real teaching scenarios, covering the integration of diverse teaching methods and the design of classroom interaction. In the second, participating teachers got hands-on, working through guided simulations of actual teaching situations. This "watch first, then do" design meant teachers left with concrete, practical experience—not just a slide deck.

This has always been how WisdomGarden promotes digital teaching: staying close to the classroom and starting from teachers' real needs, rather than pushing technology from the top down.

Participating teachers work hands-on to complete a teaching-scenario simulation.

Tamkang University has cultivated the field of digital teaching for many years, and as the host institution it took the opportunity to share its own rollout journey and concrete results, offering partner schools a practical path to reference. After the workshop, many participating teachers said that although they had initially found the platform unfamiliar, the hands-on session left them able to handle the basics and confident about bringing it into their own classrooms.

Advancing digital learning takes more than a good platform—it takes a partner willing to walk with you every step of the way.

Question for You

At your school or organization, what is the biggest obstacle to advancing digital teaching right now? Is it teachers' willingness to adopt it, technical support, or a lack of success stories to learn from?

Want to learn more? Let’s talk.

We welcome colleges and universities, teaching-development centers, and education-technology partners to connect with WisdomGarden, and together explore how AI and digital platforms can truly take root in the classroom and enhance the learning experience of every teacher and student.
